Te Whare o Taonga
What we do.
Providing a safe and supporting home
We provide a safe and supportive home for māmā taiohi in South Auckland who need temporary housing while learning essential skills to care for and raise their pēpi.
4 Stages Journey to Independence Programme
Our 4 Stages Journey to Independence Programme helps māmā taiohi establish healthy routines, develop parenting skills, learn to cook, engage with external support services, set personal goals, and build confidence in caring for themselves and their pēpi. We also support their transition back into education or mahi and help foster healthy relationships.
Preparing māmā taiohi for independence
Our dedicated team is committed to preparing māmā taiohi for independence — whether living within the community or with whānau. Our greatest success is when they no longer require our support and feel confident in their journey ahead.
