What we do.

Māmā Awhi Services offers a tailored pregnancy and parenting education programme designed to meet the unique needs of māmā taiohi.

Our dedicated Māmā Awhi coordinator is passionate about empowering young parents by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the exciting journey of parenthood. We support matua taiohi in finding a midwife, arranging transport to appointments, and ensuring they have the resources they need throughout their pregnancy.

We believe in the power of education, the strength of parenthood, and the promise of a brighter future for both māmā taiohi and their pēpi.

Referrals

Who can refer to us? We accept referrals from external agencies, eg social services, Oranga Tamariki, self-referral, health agencies. Please click on the link below to complete a referral form and one of our Teen Parent Services kaimahi will be in touch.
