At Kākāno Early Childhood Centre, tamariki are cared for, they are safe and loved.  Play is learning, we support our tamariki to engage in activities they engage and look for learnings in each activity the tamariki engages in. 

We engage purposeful activities that celebrates each child’s uniqueness.  It builds confidence; their ability to express themselves and their imagination.  It also builds their oral language and numeracy skills through new discoveries and research about their interests.
