At Homai, we celebrate and embrace the uniqueness of every child, knowing that experiencing different cultures, languages, and customs builds confidence and understanding.

Today, our tamariki had a beautiful morning at Homai School’s assembly for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Our four-year-olds are becoming familiar with waiata, himene, and karakia, and we are so proud of their efforts in learning the words and actions. They are also learning to sit respectfully for longer periods, demonstrating great listening skills and patience. Ka pai, tamariki mā!
A huge mihi to Homai School for welcoming us. These experiences enrich our tamariki’s learning journey, helping them develop a strong sense of identity, belonging, and appreciation for te ao Māori.
