This week, our tamariki at Eden Campus embarked on an ocean adventure right inside our learning space! We created a sensory-rich setup using flowing fabrics to represent water, soothing ocean sounds, and a variety of sea creatures for the children to explore.
This immersive environment sparked their curiosity, encouraging them to ask questions, expand their vocabulary, and deepen their understanding of marine life through play.

To enhance our ocean display, we refreshed the showcase with new fabrics and a special addition—a real bird’s nest, kindly donated to us. The children were fascinated by this natural treasure, with one of our little learners taking a special interest in helping with the setup. His excitement and thoughtful questions about the materials showed just how powerful hands-on learning can be.
